Personally, I tried making various insects bite me until I inherited one of their powers, after realising that wouldn’t work I tied a shoelace around my finger and pretended it was my spider web. Then my de-laced shoes fell off and I stubbed my toe, and that was the end of The Adventures of Me

Suddenly Steve’s face lit up with excitement and good news. “Actually, I know just the guy. High tech robotics, he’s even teaching me some of the ropes, however wired they may be.” he said enthusiastically. “I’m sure he could replace it with something that almost looked… normal, if that’s what you’re going for.”
“No, I like the look of it,” Bucky smiled, glancing down at the red star painted on his metal shoulder. “But it’s old….you know someone, huh?” Bucky asked.
Steve nodded. “Yeah. It’s Howard’s son.”
“Stark?” Bucky looked a bit surprised. “Son of a gun…..he “fondued” after all.” Bucky chuckled as he poked his friend’s shoulder teasingly. “Bet with all this swanky new technology, Stark’s kid is even more brilliant that his ol’ man. Think you can arrange a meeting? I’d love to see what he could do.”
